Payments and refunds
What you are charged, when, and what happens when you want to stop.

What you are charged for
Per person, per month. Only people with a workspace account count — somebody who is on the roster but has never signed in does not, which means a company of two hundred with twelve people actually using it pays for twelve.
Pay monthly or pay for the year. The yearly figure is lower and is taken once at the start of the year.
Prices are shown in rupees for customers in India and in US dollars everywhere else. Those are two separate price lists rather than one converted into the other, so an Indian bill does not move when the exchange rate does. If your country uses neither, you are charged in dollars, and your bank converts it at its own rate — that converted figure is what your statement will show.
When the count changes
- You buy seats. A seat is a place for one person with a workspace account; an invitation nobody has accepted yet holds one too. Buy spares for people you are about to hire.
- Adding seats mid-period: you pay for the new number from that day, and what you had not yet used of the period you were in comes off the bill — so nothing you paid for is lost and nothing is paid twice.
- Somebody leaves: the unused part of their seat, worked out by the day, becomes credit that comes off your next bill. It is credit, not cash.
What each plan includes, and what is extra
Reading CVs with AI is included in every plan, up to the number a month shown on the pricing page; it is not charged separately. Drive space beyond what the plan includes is bought as a storage pack — a year at a time, at the price shown before you pay, on its own invoice.
Taxes
Prices are shown before tax. For customers in India, 18% GST is added on top — split as CGST and SGST where you are in the same state as us, and as IGST everywhere else in India. The invoice shows which, and your GSTIN if you have given us one.
For customers outside India this is an export of services and is zero-rated, so no Indian GST is charged. Any tax due where you are is yours to handle. If you give us your VAT or GST registration number, it goes on the invoice with a reverse-charge note, which is what your accountant will look for.
Who handles your card
We never see your card. Card numbers, expiry dates and CVVs go straight to our payment gateway and are never sent to us or stored on our servers. What we keep is the gateway’s reference for the payment, the amount, and whether it worked — enough to show you a receipt and answer a question about a charge, and nothing that could be used to charge anybody.
That means the gateway, not us, is responsible for the security of your card details and for the payment itself. If a payment is taken wrongly, declined, delayed or duplicated by them, we will help you chase it, but we are not liable for their handling of it.
If you set up automatic payment, you authorise the gateway to collect the amount shown when it is due. Your bank will tell you before each collection, and you can turn it off at any time from Settings. Above a limit set by the Reserve Bank, an automatic collection is not allowed to go through unattended — so for larger subscriptions we will ask you to approve each payment instead, and say so rather than letting it fail quietly. Automatic payment is for Indian cards; outside India each renewal is paid by hand, and we remind you before it is due.
If prices change
What you are paying now does not change mid-period. A monthly plan keeps its price to the end of the month; a yearly plan keeps it to the end of the year. Nothing is ever re-priced after you have paid for it.
Prices can change for the period after that, and we will email you at least 30 days before a renewal at a new price — enough time to cancel instead, or to pay for a year at the old rate if that suits you better. If an automatic payment is set up, a price rise needs your approval again before anything is collected.
Taxes are the exception: if a government changes a rate, the new rate applies from the day it does, because it is not ours to hold.
Disputing a charge with your bank
If you think a charge is wrong, write to us first — we can usually see what happened and fix it the same day, which a bank cannot.
If you raise a chargeback instead, the gateway takes the money back from us along with a fee while it is investigated. Where the charge turns out to have been correct, we may add that fee to your account and suspend the workspace until it is settled. A workspace suspended this way behaves like an unpaid one: nothing is deleted, and it comes straight back when the balance clears.
Refunds
Any payment can be refunded in full within 14 days of making it — for any reason or none, wherever you are. Press Ask for a refund beside the invoice in Settings → Billing; nobody has to approve it. The money goes back to the card or account it came from, which usually takes 5–7 working days, and a credit note is issued against the invoice.
- A plan: your workspace moves to the Free plan the moment the refund is made, and any credit that payment used is given back to you. Nothing is deleted. If you have since paid for a newer plan, refund that newer payment — the older one was already turned into credit towards it.
- A storage pack: refundable while your files still fit without it; the extra space is removed when the money goes back.
After 14 days payments are not refunded. When you cancel you keep what you have paid for until the end of the period, and it then stops.
Whenever it happens, a payment taken in error — charged twice for the same thing, or charged and given nothing — is always put right. That is not a refund, it is a mistake, and we fix mistakes. Write to hello@amionyx.com and we will sort it out.
If a payment fails
We tell you, and we keep telling you: once a paid period ends unpaid you have fifteen days, and a reminder goes out every one of them to everybody at your company who can change the plan.
If it is still unpaid after those fifteen days, the workspace locks — nobody at your company can use it until it is paid. Nothing is deleted. Every record stays exactly where it is and comes straight back when the plan is renewed. Signing in and the billing pages keep working the whole time, so paying is always possible.
Stopping
Cancel whenever you like, from the workspace, without writing to anybody. You keep what you have paid for until the end of the period. Your data stays yours: export it before you go, or ask us to erase it after.
If something is wrong with a bill
Write to hello@amionyx.com within sixty days of the invoice and we will look at it properly. If we got it wrong we will say so and put it right.
