Why this one

Most of these are not features. They are calls taken early.

Every product in this category has twelve modules. What differs is what each one decided when the decision was cheap — and what you feel every day afterwards.

  • 01

    Permissions that are actually separate

Seeing salaries is not the same as being an admin. Answering a support ticket is not the same as deciding whose it is. Handling billing is not the same as seeing the client. Each of those is its own permission rather than a bundle you get for being senior.

What it costs youMore to set up on day one than a product with three roles and a slider.

  • 02

    Nothing deletes quietly

Delete is soft and confirmed, kept for thirty days, and anything irreversible says what it will remove before it does it. Every change to a person's record keeps who made it and when.

What it costs youStorage you are paying for holds things you thought were gone. We think that is the right way round.

  • 03

Built for people with two jobs

Taking a job somewhere else does not end the one you have. Both workspaces sit under one account and you switch between them from the header. Leaving a company needs an approval, not a click.

What it costs youIdentity is harder than “one account, one employer”, which is what most of this software assumes.

  • 04

An employee sees a grade, not a number

Reviewers score out of ten because a number is easier to be consistent about. The person is shown a letter — and the server does not send them the number at all, so it cannot leak through a browser tool.

What it costs youSome managers want to show the number. They can say it out loud; the product will not do it for them.

  • 05

The AI shows its working, and decides nothing

A CV is read against your posting line by line, and each requirement comes back with the sentence from the CV it was judged on — including the ones it could not find, marked as not shown rather than guessed. The score orders the field. A person decides.

What it costs youSlower to read than a single number, and it will sometimes tell you it does not know.

  • 06

    Off means absent

A module you have not switched on is not in the navigation at all. It is not there greyed out, and it does not open a page inviting you to upgrade.

What it costs youYou will not discover a feature by bumping into a locked door. You have to go looking, or ask us.

Who it is for
  • Companies between about ten and three hundred people, where the spreadsheet has stopped working but a full HRIS rollout is six months nobody has
  • Teams doing client work — agencies, studios, consultancies — where hours, projects and invoices are the same conversation
  • Anybody hiring steadily enough that unread CVs pile up faster than they get opened
  • Companies in India first: holidays, states, rupees and the DPDPA are the defaults, not an afterthought
Who it is not for
  • Companies that need payroll run inside the same product — tewo does not run payroll, and pretending otherwise would waste your time
  • Teams under about five people, who genuinely are fine with a shared drive and a group chat
  • Anybody who needs certified compliance paperwork today — SOC 2 and ISO 27001 are not in hand, and we will not imply they are
  • Companies wanting a system that auto-rejects candidates. It will not, at any price

Still not sure it fits?

Tell us the shape of your company and we will say plainly whether this is the right thing for you — including when it is not.
